Job summary

Google is seeking a Silicon Failure Analysis Lead to drive end-to-end FA for SoCs used in mobile devices and laptops. You will lead cross-functional teams across Design, Product, Test, Process Technology, Yield and Reliability to identify root causes and implement robust, cost-effective solutions.

You will integrate SoC technologies into products, supervise ATE/DFT-based diagnostics, collaborate with foundries and OSATs, and guide DFY practices to improve yield, reliability and field performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in SoC Failure Analysis.
• Experience operating failure analysis equipment for EFI and using ATE with data from DFT diagnosis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead yield, reliability, and RMA failure analysis through fault isolation.
• Collaborate with external foundries and OSATs to enable yield learning.
• Drive Design for Yield (DFY) practices to eliminate yield detractors and improve ramps.
• Provide investigative insights to design and layout teams for robust FA.
• Oversee regional failure analysis lab readiness and safety compliance.
