Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in California seeks a Senior Silicon ATE Development Test Engineer to design and implement high-volume production test methodologies for custom SoCs for Leo.

You will collaborate with ASIC teams, suppliers, and cross-disciplinary staff to optimize test infrastructure, ensure timing and repeatability, and drive production readiness from development through release. Experience with Teradyne, Advantest, DFT/DFM, and Python scripting is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years RF test or RF product engineering experience, preferably in high-volume consumer devices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel internationally during release to production phases.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans and test programs for SoCs tested on Teradyne and Advantest equipment.
• Develop and review load board, socket, and probe card designs and simulations.
• Convert test patterns from the DFT team to tester formats (e.g., ATP).
• Run test vectors and optimize tester parameters for timing and repeatability.
• Collaborate with ASIC teams to ensure production test equipment meets Amazon standards.
• Optimize equalization for up to 224 Gbps SERDES on ATE platforms.
• Identify test-related readiness and work toward expedient resolutions.
• Assist in qualification activities like burn-in, HTOL, ESD.
