Job summary

Egis in the U.S. Sacramento office is seeking an Experienced Engineer, Signaling to lead complex railway signaling projects. You will develop technical solutions, coordinate interfaces, and support delivery from design through commissioning.

The role requires deep expertise in signaling and train control technologies, strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure safe, on-time project delivery and successful handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or systems engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure.
• 10+ years in railway signaling or train control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve signaling engineering deliverables through design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate system interfaces and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review supplier and contractor designs for compliance.
• Provide oversight for digital signaling and train control systems.
• Prepare documentation supporting safety, regulatory, and operational approvals.
• Develop testing, commissioning, and final acceptance activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project delivery and system handover.
