Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior/Engineering Specialist to advance emitter geolocation analysis and signal-processing solutions on-site in Chantilly, VA. The role requires a strong background in geolocation, numerical methods, and national systems, plus the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SSBI clearance.

You will work within the Mission Payloads Division (MPD) and collaborate with CSAD, delivering innovative analysis and software solutions for DoD and intelligence customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience after Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in emitter geolocation, national systems, numerical methods, numerical optimization, and digital signal processing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SSBI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Effective communication, documentation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop signal simulators for geolocation, geolocation solvers, and their associated digital signal processing algorithms.
• Analyze and simulate geolocation systems.
• Represent the department with technical presentations, oversee projects, and collaborate with customers.
• Maintain and version control source-code libraries shared with collaborators.
