Job summary

Zdeno Solutions seeks a Strategic Indications and Warning Chief Systems Engineer to lead SI&W modernization efforts in Laurel, MD. The role emphasizes rigorous systems engineering leadership within SIGINT architectures at Emerson 6.

You will drive requirements analysis, test planning, integration across IPTs, and coordination with LSEs and stakeholders. Advanced engineering degrees or equivalent and TS/SCI with poly are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 20+ years general systems engineering experience.
Master’s degree or PhD with 18+ years, or 24+ years with a high school diploma.
Solid experience supporting SIGINT systems and translating high-level requirements into measurable system requirements.

Responsibilities

Create process documentation, migration plans, and program-level SE documents.
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), identifying SE areas that need enterprise coordination.
Provide oversight and monitoring of existing development and integration activities, and coordinate with Forward Deployed Lead Systems Engineers (LSE) and teams and stakeholders.
Track development software, system requirements, and planning documentation.
Guide and oversee the development and implementation of SE processes.
Document as-is and to-be TechSIGINT enterprise architectures.
Provide system testing assistance in the development of Test Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and other related program documentation.
Analyze test results and make recommendations based on test results.
Provide oversight of software configuration and management processes.
Manage other Systems Engineers as assigned.
