Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Signal and Power Integrity Engineer to lead board/system SI design activities, perform system-level SI simulations for PCIe, LPDDR/DDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI and USB, and optimize PDN while collaborating with package and PCB design teams.

You will work with application engineering to support customer boards, gain hands-on with TDR and VNA, and contribute to ensuring high-volume manufacturing impacts are understood. Degree and 4+ years required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years SI/PI experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, LPDDR/DDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI, USB).
• Hands-on with HFSS, Sigrity, HSPICE or similar tools.
• Experienced with Cadence Allegro PCB designer and Constraints Manager.
• Understanding of impacts of high-volume PCB manufacturing on SI.

Responsibilities

• Lead board/system SI design, PCB stack-up design, material selection, layout review, and post-layout analysis.
• System-level SI simulation of PCIe, LPDDR/DDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI, USB and other interfaces.
• Analyze and optimize PDN on PCBs; work with Package and PCB Design teams.
• Collaborate with Application Engineering supporting customer board designs.
• TDR & VNA measurement for PKG/PCB material characterization and model correlation.
