Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Senior Signal Integrity and EMC Engineer to ensure the electrical reliability of autonomous vehicle systems. This role involves owning the end-to-end strategy for signal integrity and RF performance, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include leading the development of signal integrity strategies, defining RF performance requirements, and troubleshooting complex issues. Candidates must have extensive experience and relevant qualifications in electrical engineering and RF design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in signal integrity, RF design, and/or EMC validation.
• Understanding of CISPR, ISO, SAE, FCC, and UNECE EMC standards and regulations.
• Experience with high-speed digital electronics design, schematic capture, and PCB layout best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and validation of signal integrity and shielding strategies.
• Define vehicle-level RF performance requirements for wireless communication.
• Perform SI/PI simulations for critical high-speed interfaces and power distribution networks.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement best practices for RF design and EMC.
• Develop validation plans for RF performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Stay current with emerging automotive technologies and high-speed communication standards.
