Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Product Security professional to lead risk assessment and security analyses across the autonomous vehicle software stack. You will collaborate with safety and engineering teams to quantify risks, validate with simulator fuzzing, and craft design proposals that feed into broader risk management frameworks.

The role requires expertise in systems engineering and cybersecurity, with a track record in translating analysis into actionable deliverables.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS or a related engineering field and 3+ years of experience.
• Strong systems engineering background with cybersecurity expertise.
• Experience with quantitative risk assessment frameworks (EPSS, attack trees, Monte Carlo, Bayesian networks).
• Experience with risk analysis of complex embedded systems and turning analysis into deliverables.
• Pragmatic adoption of AI/LLM toolchains for security analysis and regulatory deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Perform Risk Assessment by quantifying security-related safety risks with cross-functional teams.
• Drive verification of quantified risks by fuzzing real-world scenarios in simulators.
• Write design proposals and drive execution while communicating risks to partner teams.
• Roll up risk metrics into company-wide frameworks.
• Interface with multiple engineering teams to understand constraints and factor into analysis and recommendations.
• Leverage experience with AV software stack (Perception, Prediction, Planning) and large-scale evaluation pipelines.
