Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Staff Signal and Power Integrity Engineer to own end-to-end SI/PI sign-off for next-gen robotaxi hardware. You will define architectures, collaborate with design and layout teams, and ensure robust PDN and high‑speed link performance across multi-board systems.

The role requires 10+ years in SI/PI, deep expertise with PCIe/Ethernet/MIPI/GMSL, LPDDR memory, and automotive protocols. You will mentor engineers and help set company-wide simulation practices.

Qualifications

• Ten-plus years of proven SI/PI experience in complex high-speed designs.
• Experience with PCIe, multi-gigabit Ethernet, MIPI CSI/DSI, and GMSL.
• Expertise in LPDDR memory interfaces and automotive protocols like A2B.

Responsibilities

• Define SI/PI architectures and constraints for high-density PCBs.
• Lead cross-functional hardware design, layout, and integration teams.
• Sign off on PDN, impedance, timing, and recovery analyses.
• Mentor engineers and drive tool/simulation methodologies.
