Job summary

StoryPoint in Iowa City seeks a Shuttle Bus Driver to provide safe transport for our senior residents. You will operate a bus, assist with boarding, maintain logs, and keep vehicles clean, on a 8am-5pm, Monday–Friday schedule. Competitive pay and generous PTO accompany this role.

The ideal candidate has 3 years shuttle driving experience, holds a Chauffeur's License with a clean record, and can lift 25 pounds. A friendly, patient attitude and flexibility for evenings or holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Three years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle.
• Chauffeur's License with a clean driving record.
• Compassion for seniors and a friendly, patient attitude.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, or holidays).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents getting on and off the bus using safe methods.
• Complete daily trip logs and route priorities for efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior.
• Inspect bus before trips and document findings.
• Maintain a positive attitude to support team performance.
