Job summary

Ring Power Corporation in Florida is seeking a skilled Technician II who can diagnose, disassemble and repair Caterpillar equipment to manufacturer specifications. You will work safely, maintain a neat work area, document repairs and help control repair costs.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 3–4 years of relevant experience, plus completion of required training to be designated Tech II. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealer software is expected, and ongoing training

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3–4 years of experience.
• Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech II.
• Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
• Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain tools and a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety standards.
• Complete documentation of repairs and track repair times.
• Monitor job expenses versus estimates and report any overrun to the supervisor.
• Mentor and train others in the department.
