Job summary

Ring Power Corporation is seeking a skilled technician in Central Florida to diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment. The role emphasizes safety, proper documentation, and adherence to manufacturer specifications.

You will train, mentor others, and may assume supervisory duties temporarily as needed. Qualified candidates have 3–4 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and completed training to be designated Tech II.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; relevant trade training preferred.
• 3–4 years of field or shop experience expected for Tech II.
• Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech II.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all assigned work safely, following safety, environmental and contamination control policies.
• Attends and completes required technician training classes.
• Maintains necessary tools to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Keeps work area neat, looks for ways to improve methods, area, and safety standards.
• Documents repairs and tracking of labor using appropriate software; monitors repair times and costs.
