Job summary

U.S. Pacific Fleet in Hawaii seeks a seasoned program leader to direct and integrate a portfolio of shipyard maintenance and fleet-readiness programs. You will provide long-range planning, allocate resources, and manage performance to sustain mission readiness across the Engineering and Planning Department.

The role requires overseeing security, building and space management, emergency management, and adherence to EEO policies while guiding subordinates and achieving strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing, building, and managing shipyard maintenance and/or administrative programs to ensure compliance with organizational mission goals and fleet readiness

Responsibilities

• Direct and integrate a portfolio of complex and critical support programs essential to the Engineering and Planning Department's mission.
• Provide long-range strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance management for programs impacting shipyard maintenance operations and fleet readiness.
• Manage shipyard security, building management, space management, and emergency management for the department.
• Establish and approve the department’s immediate and long-range goals and objectives and appraise progress in meeting those goals.
• Anticipate and resolve problems and deviations from established plans and objectives.
• Exercise administrative and technical supervision over subordinates.
• Carry out EEO policies and communicate support of these policies to subordinates.
