Job summary

Schneller is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead day-to-day Shipping and Logistics operations, ensuring safe, accurate, timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished products. You will supervise staff, plan schedules, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with customer requirements and company goals.

You will collaborate with Operations and cross-functional teams, oversee freight costs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in shipping, logistics, freight, warehousing, or a related function within a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct supervisory experience, including coaching and performance management.
• 3–5 years of experience leading operational improvement and change initiatives.
• Experience coordinating parcel, LTL, TL, and international transportation.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Shipping employees, set expectations, and coach performance.
• Plan staffing and allocate resources based on production schedules.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Manage annual Shipping budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and customer service.
