Position Summary:

Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown is near many major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies, Beneful and Pro Plan brands—product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. As a Shipping Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our warehouse operations, ensuring that our pet food brands reach homes across the nation. Your role is vital in executing and coordinating all daily activities of the shipping office, adhering to established policies and procedures, and maintaining the high standards associated with Nestlé Purina.

• Assist the shift supervisor with the daily operation of the warehouse systems.
• Issue work assignments to Forklift Operators, Assistant Jockey, and Jockey efficiently.
• Dispatch and receive inbound truck drivers, ensuring smooth logistics.
• Input accurate truck information into the yard management system.
• Prepare and maintain productivity reports, shipping documents, pick/load slips, and various other essential paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, customers, and warehouse employees to ensure seamless operations.
• Note: Candidate must be available for 12 hour shifts on overnights for this role.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1+ years’ logistics and/or production experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, military, or related environment
  
  

The approximate pay range for this position is $42,000 to $55,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
