Overview

A growing provider of technology and mobility solutions is seeking a Shipping Lead to oversee and improve daily outbound operations. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate shipments while driving process improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shipping operations to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment
• Utilize shipping/order management systems to manage workflows (e.g., ShipStation or similar)
• Apply lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance shipping efficiency
• Train and manage shipping staff to optimize productivity and workflow
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive performance and process enhancements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain shipping documentation and accuracy in inventory levels
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless logistics and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in warehouse operations; 3+ years in a shipping leadership role
• Proven success in driving process improvements using lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Experience with logistics platforms (ShipStation a plus) and inventory software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
