Job summary

Core Group Resources is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead major shipbuilding and marine construction projects from planning through turnover. You will coordinate engineering, planning, production, QA, supply chain, and program controls into a single execution plan, with a focus on cost, schedule, quality, and risk.

This senior role requires overseeing multidisciplinary teams, extensive vendor and subcontractor integration, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on active shipyard

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible project, program, production, engineering, or construction management experience.
• Experience in shipbuilding, marine construction, or similarly complex industrial environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary or matrixed teams across engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead vessel or major project scope from planning through fabrication, testing, completion, and turnover.
• Build and maintain integrated execution plans covering scope, schedule, resources, milestones, interfaces, acceptance criteria, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor labor, materials, tooling, work packages, inspections, and testing against the project schedule.
• Report project status, forecasts, risks, and recovery plans to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate technical and production interfaces between major vessel systems and teams.
