Qualifications

• Experience leading complex contracts or programmes in shipbuilding or heavy industry.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven risk management, contingency planning and delivery execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive planning and execution of contracts for new-build shipbuilding.
• Set up projects for success by applying PM processes and standards and ensuring delivery excellence.
• Deliver safe, timely, within budget and high-quality outcomes.
• Actively engage stakeholders throughout the project life cycle for alignment between business, sponsor and delivery teams.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the project team.
• Pre-empt project risks and plan contingencies using experienced problem-solving.
• Clearly define scope, outcomes, resources, timelines and budget constraints.
• Develop detailed resource-based project plans showing dependencies and delivery roles; monitor and update regularly.
• Drive cross-functional teams to deliver to plan and budget; assess risks and opportunities.
• Track progress against plan and budget; manage scope through change control.
