Job summary

EHS Technologies Corporation in Philadelphia, PA, seeks an Engineering Technician V to support the Navy’s Interior Communications Data Networks and related shipboard electronic systems. You will install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and sustain these systems at shipboard and land-based sites, with travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites as required.

The role requires eight years of related experience, a Secret clearance and US citizenship, plus ability to interpret drawings and perform complex tests.

Qualifications

• Eight years of related experience with electrical/electronic systems on ships.
• Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Experience reading technical drawings and equipment docs.
• Familiarity with IC Data Networks and fleet integration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot shipboard electronic systems and networks.
• Support shipboard network installation, checkout, configuration updates and verification testing.
• Review technical drawings to assess design adequacy and support modifications.
• Determine test requirements and conduct tests to evaluate equipment performance.
• Support lab installations, verification and troubleshooting of network equipment.
• Document test results and assist with manuals and reports.
• Plan and execute limited scope technical projects.
