Qualifications

• Requires surface ship experience and hands-on troubleshooting of shipboard electronics.
• Experience with antennas, cables, waveguides, and ducts.
• Proficient with test equipment like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex shipboard electronic systems and equipment.
• Isolate malfunctions and perform circuit and signal-flow analysis.
• Install, maintain, repair, and overhaul shipboard electronics.
• Incorporate engineering changes and modifications.
• Use high-frequency test equipment and related gear.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians as needed.
