Job summary

Intel Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager/Shift GL to lead a team of NM Die Sort technicians on a compressed 4-shift schedule. The role requires full-time onsite presence and focuses on safety, quality, and productivity within the NM Advanced Packaging manufacturing line.

The position entails owning and coordinating maintenance, resolving operational issues, and partnering with engineering to optimize performance across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in an exempt factory-based role at Intel.
• Or 5+ years in semiconductor wafer fabrication or test factory operations at Intel, including 2+ years in equipment/ops and 1+ year as a tactical point of contact.
• Or 2+ years as a people manager in semiconductor manufacturing or other high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians overseeing operations, maintenance, and repair in NM Die Sort as part of NM Advanced Packaging manufacturing line.
• Own safety, quality, scheduling, conflict resolution, and resolve operational, safety, and security issues in the factory.
• Develop and coach teams to meet safety, quality, output, cost, productivity, and people performance targets.
• Plan preventive/corrective maintenance for equipment to maximize availability and support ramp/changeover periods.
• Beon-shift owner for issues; manage schedules, training, and overtime; maintain accountability and productivity.
