Job summary

EY seeks a Senior SharePoint & Power Platform Engineer Consultant (Manager) to lead migrations from SharePoint on‑premises to Microsoft 365 and to design modern intranets. You’ll guide target architectures, migration waves, and modernization efforts, partnering with client stakeholders across lifecycle stages to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Proven experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (assessment, waves, pilots, remediation, cutover, and hypercare).
• Experience with at least one major migration toolset (e.g., Microsoft Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest, or similar).
• Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
• Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), especially for forms/workflow modernization patterns.

Responsibilities

• Assess & plan migrations: run discovery/inventory, define migration scope and waves, estimate effort/complexity, and establish cutover and hypercare plans.
• Design the target intranet: define information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search approach, metadata/content types, and permissions model.
• Execute migrations: configure and operate Microsoft and third-party migration tooling, manage pilots, remediate issues, and drive successful cutovers.
• Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows/forms to Power Automate and Power Apps patterns where appropriate.
• Enable operations & governance: establish standards, provisioning/lifecycle controls, and operational reporting.
• Lead stakeholders: run workshops, produce client-ready deliverables, and communicate risks, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to technical and business audiences.
