Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 administrator to lead the delivery, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise collaboration services.

You will own architecture and governance, monitor service health, manage provisioning and licensing in Entra ID, and escalate/tier-2/3 requests while communicating clearly with end users. This hybrid role requires 5+ years of IT operations with SharePoint Online, a CS/Engineering

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
5+ years in IT operations or systems administration with direct SharePoint Online responsibility.
Experience supporting end users on collaboration platform issues in an enterprise environment.
Experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (file shares, legacy SharePoint versions, tenant-to-tenant).
Experience working in Agile or Kanban-based team workflows and contributing to sprint planning and stand-ups.

Responsibilities

Administer and support day-to-day operations of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and related M365 services (Exchange Online, Teams).
Own SharePoint Online architecture and governance (site provisioning, permissions, information architecture, lifecycle).
Monitor service health across M365 workloads and coordinate with Microsoft support for incidents.
Manage user and group provisioning, licensing, and access reviews in Entra ID (Azure AD).
Serve as escalation point for tier-2/3 requests and ensure timely resolution and clear user communication.
Maintain documentation for configurations, runbooks, known issues, and procedures.
Support onboarding/offboarding of users across M365 services, including mailbox and Teams management.
Lead rollout of new SharePoint/M365 features and updates with testing and stakeholder communication.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and automation opportunities.
Mentor junior admins and helpdesk staff on SharePoint support practices.
Support Copilot enablement, including content readiness and permissions hygiene.
