Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer in a remote-capable role based in the McLean, VA area to lead a technical team supporting the Department of Homeland Security, manage all aspects of application development and the SharePoint Online environment, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, develop strategies for the best use of SharePoint and the Microsoft Power

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 8–10 years in SharePoint development, administration, and architecture.
• Experience leading technical teams, coordinating tasks, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in SharePoint Online and its integration with Power Platform.
• Experience with SQL Server, AD, and related Microsoft tools; familiarity with compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical team through the full SDLC, architecture, code quality, and timelines.
• Report project status and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and apps integrated with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of the SharePoint environment.
• Monitor and secure the SharePoint portal to meet organizational and compliance requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that improve business processes.
• Provide technical leadership on SharePoint best practices, architecture, and governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.

Leads a technical team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and manages all aspects of application development and the SharePoint Online environment, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security. • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and applications, integrated with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 8–10 years of relevant experience in SharePoint development, administration, and architecture. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience managing technical teams, coordinating project tasks, reporting status, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in SharePoint Online architecture and its integration with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Active Directory, and Microsoft Office, Visio, and OneNote.
• General familiarity with Section 508 compliance.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders; proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Preferred qualifications

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (SharePoint) or equivalent certification.
• Graphic design experience with Photoshop and InDesign.
