Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior SharePoint System Administrator to support a large DoD IT contract. The role includes deploying, operating, and maintaining SharePoint across multiple enclaves with remote administration for centralized data center server farms.

Responsibilities cover PKI/claims-based authentication, load balancing, site setup, permissions, troubleshooting, and handling customer requests for knowledge managers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SharePoint technologies including 2013, 2016, 2019, SE and Online.
• Experience configuring, installing, and securing SharePoint systems.
• Experience managing SQL clusters in support of SharePoint farms.
• Experience patch maintenance for SQL clusters and SharePoint farms.
• Experience with PKI authentication and claims-based authentication.
• Experience with load balancers such as F5 BigIP or Citrix NetScaler.
• Strong experience with M365/O365 cloud offerings.
• Experience with routine maintenance and scheduled maintenance windows.
• Experience with Change Management fundamentals.
• Experience with Tier 2 & Tier 3 system administration.
• Experience troubleshooting issues in large environments.
• Experience with incident analysis and trend identification.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with peer collaboration and process improvement.
• Experience with ITSM ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Interact with site/collection owners to handle inquiries and problems.
• Provide implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Distinguish user problems from enterprise-wide issues rapidly.
• Develop solutions and update SOPs.
• Oversee SharePoint upgrades and expansion of capabilities.
• Coordinate with ICAM technologies integration.
• Assist users with migrations to SharePoint 2019/SE/Online.
• Manage permissions for site collections and lists.
• Manage access to O365/M365 apps like Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online.
• Perform data searches and purges as required for compliance and security.
• Manage asset library, risk database, and calendar for stakeholders.
• Gather data, analyze, and implement incident tickets and requirements.
• Provide follow-up reports and after-action analyses.
• Support 24/7/365 operations with after-hours response.
• Update 24/7 IT Operations Center docs for troubleshooting.
