Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior SharePoint System Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. This role deploys, operates, and maintains SharePoint services across multiple enclaves, including load balancing, PKI, and claims-based authentication.

You will work in a team environment, manage site collections and permissions, and support migrations to SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint Online, with strong emphasis on security, compliance, and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience with SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online.
• Experience with PKI authentication and claims-based authentication.
• Experience with M365/O365 cloud offerings.
• Experience with ITSM ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Interact with site/collection owners to handle service inquiries and problems.
• Provide implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Rapidly distinguish isolated user problems from enterprise-wide application/system problems.
• Develop solutions for complex problems and update SOPs.
• Oversee SharePoint projects including upgrades and expansion of capabilities.
• Coordinate with ICAM technologies.
• Assist migrations from older SharePoint versions to SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Online.
• Manage permissions for site collections and related items.
• Manage access to O365/M365 apps like Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
• Conduct data purges for security/compliance needs.
• Manage asset library, risk database, and calendar for stakeholders.
• Coordinate data collection and analysis for incident tickets and requirements.
• Provide follow-up reports for Root Cause Analysis and process improvement.
• Support 24/7/365 mission environment with after-hours support.
• Update 24/7 IT Operations Center documentation for triage.
