Job summary

Leidos is seeking a SharePoint Farm Administrator to lead a two-person team at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD. You will oversee enterprise SharePoint operations, site creation, patching, and performance tuning, ensuring reliable services for multiple government stakeholders.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, extensive SharePoint and SQL Server experience, and proficiency with Central Administration, STSADM.EXE, and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Active Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 4+ years of experience as a SharePoint Farm Admin.
• 3+ years of experience supporting SharePoint users.
• 3+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
• Able to quickly build a SharePoint farm.
• Familiar with Central Administration and STSADM.EXE, managed properties, content sources, crawling, profiles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of two other SharePoint administrators in the management of enterprise level SharePoint systems infrastructures at the National Maritime Intelligence Center.
• Manage creation and maintenance of SharePoint sites, tuning performance, and storage allocation.
• Provide user/site administration, apply patches, review performance logs, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with IT, government stakeholders, and other admins for configuration, maintenance, upgrades and reliability.
• Develop and update user and technician documentation for SharePoint services and applications.
• Monitor daily performance and initiate remediation with the government/contractor team.
• Respond to ITSM incidents, problems, and service requests or delegate to the SharePoint team.
