Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Senior SharePoint Administrator to lead Enterprise SharePoint Server and Online administration within a remote setting. You’ll automate tasks with PowerShell, manage security, compliance, and migrations, and partner with IT teams to ensure reliability.

The role requires deep expertise in SharePoint, MS 365, and governance, with a focus on performance, security, and disaster recovery. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering enterprise SharePoint environments.
• Experience with SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proficient in PowerShell for administration, automation, monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administer SharePoint Server including Central Administration, service apps, backups, health monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Administer SharePoint Online tenant: site lifecycle, permissions, external sharing, app catalogs, storage, migrations (SPMT).
• Support Purview DLP, retention, information protection, and compliance for SharePoint Online.
• Manage SharePoint security, permissions, RBAC, and governance controls.
• Monitor availability, capacity, performance, and platform health.
