Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP in Manhattan, NY is seeking a settlement release paralegal to join our team. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing settlement release documents and coordinating with attorneys and clients to ensure accurate, timely processing.

You will oversee a paralegal team, interact with defense counsel, and handle document signing and notary coordination. Prior release- document drafting experience and bilingual Spanish/English are a plus.

• Proven attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of all settlement release documents.
• Oversee work product of settlement release paralegal team.
• Coordinate with attorneys to gather information for release agreements.
• Communicate with clients and explain settlement releases, including signing or notary appointments.
• Receive and review executed documents and submit to opposing counsel.
• Track funding status and follow up on delays.
• Perform additional administrative/paralegal tasks as required.
