Job summary

Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, a trial law firm with offices across multiple states, seeks an experienced Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal for its Manhattan, NY office. You will support attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases, with a focus on client interaction and accurate document preparation.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in NY PI cases, familiarity with NYSCEF, and strong organizational skills to manage evolving files and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal in New York.
• Strong understanding of personal injury procedures, including pre-suit and litigation.
• Familiarity with e-filing on NYSCEF.

Responsibilities

• Order and review medical records and summarize for attorney review.
• Conduct initial client interviews and gather case information.
• Prepare and file complaints, petitions, and other legal documents.
• Complete and submit No-Fault paperwork and applications.
• Draft Bills of Particulars and Settlement Demand packages.
• Handle all case e-filing and CMO calendar management.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team inour Manhattan, NY office.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases and be familiar with the legal procedures in New York. The paralegal will play a crucial role inassistingour attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases.This position will be based full-time in our Manhattan office.

You Will:
