Job summary

Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, a plaintiff personal injury and workers' compensation firm, seeks a paralegal to manage a large NY caseload from intake to resolution. You will interact with clients, carriers, medical providers, and the Workers' Compensation Board in a busy Midtown Manhattan office.

Requirements include 2+ years' NY workers' compensation experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and proficiency with legal case management software. Salary $26–$31/hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of workers' compensation experience in NY.
• Familiarity with WCB procedures, eCase, and NY workers' compensation filings.
• Strong client communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct initial client intakes and gather relevant documentation.
• Communicate with clients regularly as a core aspect of the role.
• Draft and send HIPAA authorizations and obtain medical records.
