The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a Senior Services Coordinator to support the Kennedy Center’s Home Care program and coordinate community-based services for older adults, helping them maintain independence, health, and social connection.
The role assists with daily operations, client support, senior activities, community outreach, and referrals; requires excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with multiple priorities.

Status: Non-Exempt Hourly (up to 30 hours/week)
Compensation: $23.50 – $26.00/hour, commensurate with experience, plus a competitive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.
Summary: The Senior Services Coordinator supports the Kennedy Center’s Home Care program and coordinates community-based services that support older adults in maintaining independence, health, and social connection. The Coordinator assists with daily operations, client support, senior activities, community outreach, and referrals to resources and services.
Working collaboratively with community partners, funding agencies, staff, and older adults, the Coordinator helps ensure the delivery of high-quality services, maintains accurate documentation and program requirements, and supports senior services through outreach, community engagement, and program activities.
The position requires excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. The Senior Services Coordinator works under the general supervision of the Director of Community Services, who provides guidance and evaluates performance through regular meetings, observations, and ongoing communication.
The position works up to 30 hours per week during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), with occasional weekend availability for community events.
