J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III to advance ServiceNow solutions, automation workflows, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will contribute to platform architecture, implement integrations, and optimize ITSM modules.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable software while mentoring junior engineers and supporting upgrades and releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years in software engineering with demonstrated design experience.
• Experience with object-oriented languages and RESTful/event-driven architectures.
• Experience building web/mobile interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React Native or Angular.
• Familiarity with cloud-based containerization and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural decisions for platform enhancements, automation solutions, and integrations; evaluate trade-offs for scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality requirements and deliverables.
• Develop and implement process automation using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow AI features to improve efficiency.
• Create and enhance software features, integrations, and workflows with secure, scalable code.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and support platform upgrades and releases.
