Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health seeks a Lead ServiceNow and System Engineer to own the ServiceNow platform architecture across MVH, leading design, implementation, and governance. You will guide external engineers, ensure enterprise alignment, and drive automation, security, and scalability across IT platforms.

The role requires deep ServiceNow expertise, ITIL knowledge, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide solutions for Healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field; Master’s preferred.
• ServiceNow CAD and CIS certifications are highly preferred.
• ITIL 4 MP/SL or equivalent desirable.
• CTA certification is a significant asset.
• Experience with cloud platforms and automation is highly desirable.
• Healthcare/veterinary operations background is a plus.
• 8+ years in ServiceNow development/engineering; 5+ years in complex enterprise design.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical architecture of the ServiceNow platform.
• Establish engineering standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Lead external ServiceNow resources to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical oversight, code review, and solution validation.
• Collaborate with IT platforms, development teams, and vendors.
• Design complex integrations, workflows, and cross-system orchestration.
• Drive automation, AI-capabilities, and self-service improvements.
• Maintain platform stability, performance, and risk management.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
