Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Oakland, CA seeks an experienced ServiceNow ITSM developer to implement Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog modules and to build custom applications.

The candidate will script in JavaScript and Jelly, work with Web Services, XML/HTML/CSS, SQL, and LDAP, follow ITIL/SDLC, and collaborate with non‑technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Certification such as CAD/CSA is preferred; flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM developer and implementing Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, or Service Catalog modules.
• Strong JavaScript and Jelly scripting skills for ServiceNow development.
• Experience with Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS; knowledge of SQL and LDAP data access.
• Familiarity with ITIL/SDLC and testing (unit, integration, UAT).
• Ability to design repeatable Dev/Test/Prod environments with reliability and high availability.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or CAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog).
• Create and customize request forms, integrations with external systems, and secure ACLs.
• Develop moderate to complex widgets and server-side scripting.
• Configure Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and workflows.
• Develop integrations via APIs, web services, and data imports/exports.
• Work with ITSM/ITOM processes and migrate solutions across environments.
