Job summary

M.C. Dean in Chantilly, VA seeks a ServiceNow Developer to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will design, customize, and implement ServiceNow modules across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and more, coordinating with Mission Partners to enable enterprise-wide integration.

The role requires active TS/SCI with POLYGRAPH and a degree in engineering with substantial experience, plus strong agile development skills and a track record of leading development, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience, or Master's with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow Tools
• Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately.
• Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required.
• Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform including ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CSM, Service Portal, HR Module, Asset Management, Change Management, and Custom Development.
• Develop code, perform code reviews, check in code, and help build CI/CD pipelines.
• Customize ServiceNow applications and configure UI, workflow, and API.
• Create and maintain configuration management on the ServiceNow platform across environments.
• Collaborate with other ServiceNow admins to develop solutions and handle updates/requests.
• Advise Mission Partners to align IT goals with new business processes.
