Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our IT team in San Antonio, TX. You will design, develop, and administer ServiceNow applications, interfaces, and integrations to support ITSM and ITOM in a DoD-focused environment.

The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, 5+ years in software design or enterprise platforms, 3+ years ServiceNow experience, and strong JavaScript/REST/SOAP skills. Travel up to 10% within 75 miles is expected; on-site work is required with a focus on security and ITIL

Qualifications

Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
5 years of software design/enterprise platform experience.
3+ years ServiceNow administration and development.
Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Experience with LDAP/SSO and REST/SOAP integrations.
Strong ITIL knowledge and governance principles.
able to work 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri).
Willingness to travel 5-10% within 75 miles.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations for ITSM/ITOM.
Administer on-prem or hosted ServiceNow instance ensuring performance and availability.
Implement core applications: Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, CMDB, Service Portal.
Develop UI policies, business rules, Script Includes, client scripts, and workflows.
Manage data imports and integrations via REST/SOAP, LDAP, etc.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and infra teams on DoD security requirements.
Support patching, upgrades, and releases with minimal disruption.
Participate in Agile sprints and technical design sessions.
