Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Senior ServiceNow developer to support ongoing DHS application development. You will lead development within the Now Platform, build custom ServiceNow apps, and integrate with legacy systems while delivering dashboard insights.

Join a fully remote agile team, responsible for quality through automated tests and collaboration with stakeholders. DHS clearance eligibility and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of IT experience; 5+ years of development, 2+ years as lead.
• 3+ years in ServiceNow/Now Platform ITSM, App Engine and/or Integration Hub.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DHS clearance.
• Experience writing unit and end-to-end automated tests.
• Proficient with Jira and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers on strategy, planning and execution of customized applications.
• Develop, maintain and expand custom ServiceNow applications on the Now Platform.
• Connect front/back-end components to a blended stack and interconnect with legacy systems.
• Support dashboard development and metrics based on ServiceNow data.
• Deliver lightweight back-end services and front-end web stack.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues.
• Promote innovation in technologies, processes, and tools.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Teams on requirements and user stories.
• Interface with stakeholders in support of the Product Owner.
• Use unit and integration testing to ensure defect-free systems.
• Interact with internal and Government management personnel.
