Job summary

VT Group (VTG) seeks an experienced Software Engineer SME to support a government program delivering enterprise ServiceNow platform engineering services. You will design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications across multiple tenants.

You will implement platform enhancements, configure workflows, and ensure stability, scalability, and security, while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deploy compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience with ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, Asset Management, and Change Management.
• JS development within ServiceNow.
• Experience with Oracle or MySQL databases.
• Clearance requirement: Top Secret with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow platform enhancements based on customer requirements
• Configure and customize ServiceNow apps, workflows, UI components, and platform modules
• Maintain and enhance core ServiceNow capabilities across enterprise tenants
• Support planning and execution of deployments in line with compliance standards
• Collaborate with ServiceNow engineers and stakeholders on updates and configurations
• Identify system deficiencies and implement technical improvements
• Ensure consistency across dev/test/int/production environments
• Support production operations, user support, and incident resolution
• Document changes, tests, and maintenance activities
• Research emerging platform capabilities as needed
• Evaluate integration requirements and performance impacts
• Maintain and improve development processes and standards
