Job summary

Constellation in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, ITBM, and GRC. You will guide a team of engineers, review peers' code, and drive best practices in an agile setting, balancing on-site collaboration with modern automation.

Role focuses on architecture, implementation, and testing to deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical field plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years for no degree.
Ability to lead small to medium software teams under tight deadlines.
Strong software development knowledge and architecture experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
Knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration and related modules.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MySQL, Redis, or Splunk.

Responsibilities

Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
Write specifications and design documentation for system components.
Design, develop, and review code and architecture for web, mobile, and integration apps across on-premises and cloud environments; include automated tests.
Lead engineering team oversight and stay abreast of new technologies.
Support version control practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
Ensure risks and issues are captured and addressed according to process.
Enhance knowledge of technologies, standards, and policies within the discipline.
Collaborate in IT architecture reviews and standards setting.
Develop white papers and present tech rationales for recommendations.
