Job summary

Nationwide Technology is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Administrator to maintain platform stability, configurations, and security, while supporting SDLC processes and integrations. Hybrid work model with some Columbus, OH presence. Strong JavaScript, ITIL foundation, and ServiceNow experience required.

The role involves developing workflows, handling upgrades, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Prior ITIL/DevSecOps knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• CSA certification required.
• 1–3+ years ServiceNow administration experience.
• Foundational understanding of JavaScript, ITIL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Angular or React frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with core ServiceNow domains (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, CSM).
• Understanding of ITIL and DevSecOps principles.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication with an agile mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage platform stability, access, and workflows.
• Oversee SDLC processes including update sets, environment deployments, and cloning from production to lower environments.
• Identify and apply upgrades, patches and plugins.
• Manage mid‑servers and integrations (APIs) including discovery and event.
• Develop license management strategies and monitor usage to avoid over-licensing.
• Create/update UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and workflows.
• Handle Access Control Lists (ACLs) and security for data.
• Troubleshoot platform errors and assist developers with advanced configurations.
• Develop and deploy enterprise applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Build scoped applications, custom workflows, and tailored modules.
• Perform unit testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
