Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services company, is seeking a seasoned software developer in Des Moines to lead and contribute across the full software lifecycle. You will design, build, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, C#, Python, XML, and JavaScript.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure ADA 508 compliance and cross-browser compatibility, and mentor junior staff while aligning with client requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience with programming or web development activities.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work with clients.
• Experience with Java, C#, Python, XML, JavaScript to design and develop prototypes.
• Experience designing scalable databases and applications with Oracle or SQL Server preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with content developers and designers to translate designs into executable software.
• Provide technical site maintenance and advice on animation, SE0, navigation, browsers, and other web developments.
• Deliver technical consultation for new systems, package evaluations, and enhancements.
• Prepare functional specifications, designs, codes, debugs, and documents for programs.
• Design user interfaces for web apps including ADA 508 and cross-browser compliance.
• Maintain compliance with coding standards and conventions.
• Develop product requirements from inception to conclusion, test and refine software.
• Conduct system tests, monitor results, and address complex issues.
• Create unit tests and coordinate with QA and security teams.
• Mentor less-experienced team members and prepare documentation.
