Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–10 years of experience with programming or web development activities.
• Experience with Java, C#, Python, XML, JavaScript, or other programming languages to design and develop prototypes from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with content developers and graphics designers to translate designs into executable software.
• Provides technical site maintenance and advice on complex web development issues (animation, SEO, navigation, cross-browser).
• Delivers technical consultation in new systems development and enhancements of existing systems.
• Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written, then designs, codes, debugs, and documents programs.
• Designs user interfaces of interactive web applications including ADA 508 and cross-browser compliance.
• Maintains compliance with standards in developing programs.
• Develops product requirements from inception to conclusion, tests and refines the software.
• Conduites system tests, monitors results, and takes corrective action for complex issues.
• Creates coded unit tests and collaborates with Testers/IA to address findings.
• Mentors less-experienced team members.
• Prepares documentation including block diagrams, logic flow charts and software documentation.
