Job summary

Cummins is seeking a Software Engineer Senior - Service Now to join our Corporate IT team in Columbus, IN. You will lead enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across HR, Legal, and Finance, driving AI-powered automation and complex system integrations.

You will own end-to-end delivery, design scalable architectures, and mentor developers while partnering with Architecture and Product teams to shape long-term strategy. This is an on-site role with strong emphasis on collaboration and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6–10+ years of enterprise application development with 4–6+ years ServiceNow development (HRSD/CSM).
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across HR, Legal, and Finance including AI-driven automation and integrations.
• Design scalable, upgrade-safe frameworks and reusable components for automation and performance.
• Develop advanced reporting, dashboards, and analytics to measure automation impact and KPIs.
• Design and implement AI-powered solutions such as Now Assist and AI Agents.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery from design through deployment and production support.
