Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow developer to design, build, and deploy a bi-directional integration between ServiceNow and Jira, creating a scalable, secure connector that synchronizes incidents, demands, change requests, and other work items across both platforms.

The role requires CAD credentials, 5+ years of development experience, and expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or related field.
• 15+ years of work experience; 10 years may be substituted for education.
• 5+ years of development experience.
• 2+ years experience in ServiceNow and the Now Platform.
• CAD certification and hands-on experience building custom applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy a bi-directional integration between ServiceNow and Jira.
• Develop, maintain and expand custom ServiceNow applications on the Now Platform.
• Develop front and back-end components and interconnect with legacy systems.
• Deliver lightweight back-end services and front-end web work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues.
• Promote innovation in technologies, processes, and tools.
• Work with Product Owners and Scrum Teams on requirements and user stories.
• Interface with government management personnel.
• Use unit and integration testing to ensure a defect-free system.
• Engage with stakeholders in support of the Product Owner.
