Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join the platform team. You will design, develop, configure, troubleshoot, and implement ServiceNow applications & services across ITSM, HRSD, and SPM.

You will collaborate with partners, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions. The role involves development with JavaScript, GlideScript, and modern web technologies, plus designing integrations and optimizing performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent.
5+ years ServiceNow Platform experience including systems administration, scripting, and development; current release on Yokohama or Zurich.
Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow scripting and related technologies.
Experience with REST API, SOAP, MID Server, JDBC, Integration Hub spokes, and Plug-ins/Store apps.
Strong communication across stakeholder levels and ability to mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with partners to gather requirements and translate into technical ServiceNow solutions.
Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, AJAX, JSON, AngularJS, Web Services, MySQL, XML, HTML, and CSS.
Work in Agile teams with two‑week sprints and prioritize backlog.
Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems via APIs and Integration Hub.
Improve performance, scalability, and user experience on the ServiceNow platform.
Ensure governance, security, and ITIL alignment across implementations.
Create technical documentation and conduct training sessions for partners and end users.
Stay current with ServiceNow features and identify process improvement opportunities.
