Responsibilities
- Ensure development aligns with ServiceNow design patterns and best practices, producing reusable, reliable, and adaptive solutions.
- Understand business context and processes to translate functional requirements into sustainable ServiceNow implementations.
- Leverage platform capabilities to achieve expected business outcomes.
- Conduct requirements elicitation, design, development, testing, training, and implementation support.
- Manage ServiceNow solution design, development, testing, and go‑live support.
- Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to refine data requirements.
- Work closely with the ServiceNow technical team to convert requirements into design and migration steps.
- Maintain and develop scoped applications.
- Define sustainment governance and processes as part of operational transition.
- Provide guidance to convert requirements into design and migration steps.
- Proficient with business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, flow designer, and notifications.
Qualifications
- 7‑10+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow design patterns, best practices, architecture, data model, and core concepts.
- Solid understanding of ACLs.
- Fosters a customer‑focused environment.
- Can communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences at all organizational levels in government.
- Problem solver and critical thinker.
- Prior experience participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and promotion into production.
- Proficient in AngularJS, Javascript, HTML, CSS and XM.
