Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to support the Bureau in delivering and maintaining enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in ServiceNow development and a strong understanding of federal agency environments. This is a full-time contract position requiring U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a favorable background investigation through the CFPB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform including workflows, UI policies, business rules, and custom applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing ServiceNow modules
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to technical documentation
- Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow best practices and federal security/compliance standards
- Attend occasional in-person meetings at CFPB Headquarters or other nearby Government-approved sites in the Washington DC Metro area
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen (required)
- Proven experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer, with hands-on expertise in ITSM, CMDB, and custom application development
- Experience supporting federal government clients
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript), and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps modules
- Prior experience with CFPB or other financial regulatory agencies
Location: Remote with Occasional On-Site Meetings in Washington, DC
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET
Clearance Requirement: Ability to pass a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) background investigation
Citizenship Requirement: United States citizenship required
