Job summary

LightFeather is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions for federal projects. This fully remote role requires active Public Trust clearance and leadership of agile teams to deliver secure, scalable applications.

You will lead integration efforts with REST/SOAP, manage RBAC and data governance, and mentor developers while collaborating with analysts to translate requirements into robust ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications

• Active DHS Public Trust clearance or higher.
• 9+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow platform development and administration.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Strong expertise in App Engine & custom app development.
• Advanced knowledge of Service Portal Development, including widget customization and UI scripting.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Proven ability to lead development teams in Agile environments.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices for ServiceNow deployment.
• Experience with AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, development, and deployment of ServiceNow apps.
• Develop, customize, and enhance ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, App Engine, and Service Portal modules.
• Lead integration efforts with external systems via REST/SOAP and Integration Hub.
• Ensure platform security, RBAC, and data governance policies.
• Mentor and lead a team of ServiceNow developers in Agile settings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize performance; perform root cause analysis.
• Work within an Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban) with sprint planning and daily stand‑ups.
• Document technical solutions and architecture for knowledge sharing.
