Senior ServiceNow Administrator (Federal / Cleared)

Location: You MUST live within 90 minutes of one of the following DISA DHMC sites: Oklahoma City, OK | Montgomery, AL | Ogden, UT | Mechanicsburg, PA | Fort Meade, MD

Work Type: Hybrid

Travel: Weekly local travel to assigned DISA site

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (Required)

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required

Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Administrator to support a federal customer operating within a secure, compliance‑driven environment. This role is responsible for platform administration, configuration, governance, and operational sustainment across a cleared infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings deep ServiceNow platform expertise, experience supporting federal or DoD environments, and strong collaboration skills to engage technical and government stakeholders.

This is a long‑term program supporting mission‑critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Sustainment
  • Administer and maintain ServiceNow across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments
  • Perform instance upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
  • Manage users, groups, roles, and ACLs in alignment with federal security policies
  • Monitor system performance, platform health, and availability
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues
  • Manage update sets and deployment processes
Configuration & Automation
  • Configure and maintain:
    • Business Rules
    • UI Policies
    • Client Scripts
    • Flow Designer workflows
    • Service Catalog items
    • Service Portal components
    • Support modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, or CSM
    • Implement workflow automation to streamline operational processes
Federal Compliance & Security
  • Ensure platform alignment with:
    • NIST 800-53
    • RMF (Risk Management Framework)
    • FISMA
    • STIG implementation guidance
    • Support ATO documentation and security artifacts
    • Assist with POA&M tracking and remediation efforts
    • Coordinate with ISSO/ISSM and cybersecurity teams
    • Support audit readiness and compliance reviews
Integration Support
  • Support REST and SOAP API integrations
  • Assist with identity and access integrations (CAC/PIV authentication)
  • Collaborate with integration teams to ensure secure data exchange
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Mentor junior administrators and developers
  • Provide technical guidance to government stakeholders
  • Support architects in platform roadmap planning
  • Deliver technical briefings and status reporting
Requirements
  • 5-8+ years of ServiceNow administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • ITSM processes
    • CMDB management
    • Service Catalog
    • Flow Designer
    • Experience performing platform upgrades and instance management
    • Experience managing update sets and release processes
    • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
    • Experience supporting federal, DoD, or highly regulated environments
    • Excellent documentation and communication skills
    • Active Secret Clearance
    • U.S. Citizenship required
